How much is the cost of Entresto?

• Eligible commercially insured patients get each 30-, 60-, or 90-day supply of Entresto® for as little as a $10 co-pay. The program pays the balance of the co-pay per fill, up to a total maximum of $2500 per calendar year. Offer not valid under Medicare, Medicaid, or any other federal or state program.

How is Entresto taken for heart failure?

• Entresto is usually taken along with other heart failure medications. These medications include diuretics (also known as water pills) and beta-blockers. Diuretics help lower blood pressure by telling your kidneys to pass salt and water in urine.

How do I titrate Entresto?

• Entresto needs to be titrated upwards slowly, over two to four weeks. The recommended starting dose for adults is Entresto 49/51 twice daily, which should be doubled after two to four weeks to Entresto 97/103mg twice daily. An oral suspension can be made for children using Entresto 49/51mg tablets crushed and mixed with Ora-Plus and Ora-Sweet.

What happens if I miss a dose of Entresto?

• If you miss a dose of Entresto, be sure to take it as soon as you remember. If the timing is too close to your next dose, just take your next scheduled dose. Be sure not to take more than one dose at a time. Taking multiple doses may increase your risk for more side effects.
